Control access to sensitive capture files
The PII Vault design encrypts capture files and requires an authorized, audited step-up before a preview or evaluation job can use decrypted data.
- Mobile uploads can land as encrypted capture packages rather than readable blobs.
- Preview and lease access can require Microsoft Entra login plus a fresh BioTone owner step-up.
- Access events should include who, when, why, target data owner, and lease/preview scope.
Encrypted packages reduce exposure if storage files leak. Access controls, short-lived permissions, and audit review govern authorized use.
